The frame is made in wood with a hand finish of graduated colors from outside to in drawing the viewers eye inward. The outer edge has a dark outer side the deep inner scoop is finished in a mahogany burgundy wood tone defined by raised lighter bands The frame also features a shabeen treatment of variegated gold and silver and burgundy metal leafing. The distinct finishes used and popular profile combine to create a very interesting and well defined framing result.
